Information to Help Generate Support for your Green Home Construction Program:

Green Housing Market Forecast from McGraw Hill Analytics: A housing markets research study published in February 2007 by McGraw Hill Construction Analytics reported that “green” homes were less than 1% of the construction market at the building peak in 2005 (worth approximately $2 billion), but “despite the current slowdown, the “green” home market is expected to grow to $20 billion by 2010." Results were reported by: the US Green Building Council (Feb 2008); Business Week (27 Jan 2008); the National Association of Home Builders (26 March 2007); and the Wall Street Journal (22 Feb 2007).
